I agree. You cannot close your ears, but you can close your door.

However, 70% of office floor space in the US has some form of open structure without any doors according to Forbes. I think we underestimate the value of being able to close the door. Besides affecting productivity, keeping doors open can have serious implications for health.

So I encourage to keep the door closed for at least an hour a day. Here are five reasons why:
